Chiltern Railways
YourRail is the first company to successfully supply a train operator with a full system for purchasing, retailing, fulfilling and validating train tickets in Britain.

In September 2006, Chiltern Railways became YourRail's first customer. Chiltern operates one of the franchises forming the UK's National Rail network from London's Marylebone Station through to Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Kidderminster.
In January 2007 for Chiltern, YourRail was the first supplier to offer UK rail customers a means to collect paperless, electronic tickets instantaneously in the form of a bar code text message on their mobile phones.
In March 2007, Cubic Transportation Systems collaborated by installing a retrofitted gate solution in Marylebone Station for automatically reading the bar code text message.
In October 2007 Chiltern began offering its customers a highly secure means to purchase their tickets on-the-move from their mobile phones in addition to being able to buy them on the web.
In December 2007 YourRail upgraded Chiltern's "eDay" electronic ticketing system to be scalable and more reliable to meet customer demands over the next three years.
These firsts for Chiltern contributed to its high customer satisfaction with 18,000 customers registered for its "eDay" tickets in 2007. This led to a National Rail Award for "Passenger Operator of the Year" and high media profile.
Together with YourRail, Chiltern has ambitious plans to expand the range and scope of electronic ticketing during 2008 with a target of more than 3,000 electronic tickets from YourRail's system sold daily.
