Wrexham & Shropshire is a new direct 'open access' train operator that started its services to customers on 28 April 2008. It offers passengers f ive trains a day on weekdays, four on Saturdays and three on Sundays in each direction between stations from Wrexham, through Shropshire and on to London's Marylebone Station. Convenient electronic ticketing is central to its service. Wrexham & Shropshire is a joint venture between the shareholders of Renaissance Trains Limited and Deutsche Bahn Regio.
